What cookies we use
We use one essential first-party cookie:
- Name: vi_visitor
- Purpose: Stores a random identifier so we can enforce the daily free search limit (two successful searches per day).
- Duration: Approximately 30 days
- Attributes: Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax
What we do not use
We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking cookies, or analytics cookies that identify you across other websites.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. If you delete the vi_visitor cookie, a new identifier will be created on your next visit and your remaining free searches for the day will reset according to the new identifier (subject to additional server-side checks).
